Margarita -- The Pearl


Ingredients:
50% tequila
25% Triple Sec or Cointreau
25% fresh lime or lemon juice

Rub the rim of the glass with the lime slice to make the salt stick to it. Shake the other ingredients with ice, then carefully pour into the glass (taking care not to dislodge any salt). Garnish and serve over ice.

Danny Negrete, 1936. Daniel presented the margarita as a wedding present to Margarita, his sister-in-law.

The Margarita's Family:

Raspberry margarita with lime juice.
Strawberry or peach margarita, with lemon juice.
Frozen Margarita.
